Emir Aksoy

Emir is a partner in ASY LEGAL. Before joining ASY LEGAL in 2019, Emir worked in numerous international law firms based in Istanbul. Emir also worked for the European Intellectual Property Office in Alicante as an external contractor. Emir holds two master’s degrees from Humboldt University in Berlin, which demonstrates his strong academic background and interest in different fields of law.

He advises foreign companies with their legal issues and strategic investments in Turkey. He has extensive experience advising on mergers and acquisitions, debt collection, real estate law, data protection, intellectual property and media law. In addition, Emir provides high-net-worth individuals (HNWI) with their immigration law needs in Turkey. He has extensive knowledge and experience in getting Turkish Citizenship by Investment (CBI) for his clients and helping them with their real estate transactions in Turkey.

Emir is fluent in English, Turkish and German and has business proficiency in Spanish, which enables him to advise his clients from different countries in their own languages.
